One Word that will change your life.

So a few years ago a friend recommended I read a book called One word that will change your life.  It is literally a game changer for me.  A 45 minute read and I have had 100’s of friends read it.  Perfect for the entire family. You chose what parts work for you and then you chose a word to live by for the year.  I think it is a perfect way to start 2017.  Like I said its 45 minutes.  My words in the last years have been discipline, acceptance and this year it is all forms of passion, passionately, passionate.  You can get it just about everywhere including your kindle.   UPDATE for 2018 My word is Purpose, purposeful, on purpose. My work for 2019/2020 is ADAPT!  I would love to hear yours.

I just completed Life Word and My  Life word is INSPIRE! What’s yours?

Start this book anytime

I read this book every year on my quit smoking anniversary in the middle of October.  Choosing and living my word.

I have literally recommended this book to 100’s of people and hear from people everyday about how having this focus daily helps them stay focused and leads them in a positive direction.

Please share your one word with us on this page and if you decide to read the Life word I would love to hear that as well.

This book is a great gift for mom’s, dads, teachers, students, graduates, teenagers, grandparents, really everyone.  You can take it one step further and Get your Life word.

  1. It is a really powerful book; packed in a few pages it gives you a spiritual and motivational boost. My word came to me after I was praying and one of the words I used “stuck” in my head. DECISIONS. Then the still small voice kept bringing me back to it. Strange word, perhaps, but there it is. Given to me by God. Now it is up to me to allow Him to guide me throughout the year usIng the word. DECISIONS. I love it. ❤

  2. Three years of reading this book and living by a word. I am always surprised which word finds me and sticks. This year my word is “brave”.
I find it important to share my word with those around me because they often hold me accountable to it or show me different avenues it applies to my circumstances that I would not have seen on my own. Thank you for sharing this powerful message! I can’t wait to keep reading all your amazing ideas here!!

  3. So this may be a silly question, but do I start with One Word, or Life Word? Does it matter? Are they basically the same? (Ok – so maybe a few silly questions 🙂 )

    1. Hi I started with one word just because it was the only one out. But I think I would recommend that. Start there to get your year word. They are not the same actually. I thought they might be too. I also didn’t think I would read them one right after the other. Wait a few months to read life word❤️
