Setting Goals with Intention
As a life coach I hear it all the time people know what they want, have goals, dreams and desires but that is as far as they go. My job is not to give you the answers but to teach you how to discover the answer. Knowing what you want is definitely important but you have to have a plan. Today we are going to break it down for you and you will be able to have a very specific goal and plan when you are done. Whether you choose to do it all in one day or over a 5 day period it is up to you. SMART Goals are broken down like this.
S: Specific M: Measurable A: Attainable R: Realistic/Relevant T:Timely
First: What is your Goal?
Exercise Plan ?
Start a business?
What and Why Do you want to accomplish?
When and where will you achieve this goal and who will you need help from?
What might be your Challenges and constraints involved?
How many or much do you want to achieve?
How will you know when you have achieved your goal?
What are the steps you need to take in order to achieve your goals?
How will you grow and expand to achieve this goal?
How will this goal help you to attain happiness or fulfillment?
Is this goal aligned with your values, strengths and needs?
What can be done towards achieving your goal?
What can you do in the next 6 days, 6 weeks, or 6 months?
Once you have taken the time to answer the questions and make your goal clear it will be much easier to visualize and achieve. I am challenging you to find your focus and stop making excuses. Step up and go after it!
